DESIGN YOUR OWN COURT ON TARAFLEX WEB SITE
ATLANTA, GA, DECEMBER 4, 2006 - Taraflex® Sports Flooring by Gerflor re-launched its web site with new interactive options and animation. Visitors to www.gerflortaraflex.com can design their own basketball or volleyball court online. They can sign up and take the AIA Learning Course, “The Fundamentals of Sports Flooring,” on the site. Architects can download technical information including specifications for all Taraflex products.
The site serves as a sports flooring information resource online with a combination of easy navigation and a bright, attractive layout. Its intuitive design helps visitors who want to be educated about indoor sports flooring for gyms, multipurpose rooms, fitness and aerobics centers and racquet sports facilities.
“We listened to our customers and created a web site that helps them learn about Taraflex and develop their own ideas for court designs,” says Nicolas Bauer, Gerflor sports marketing manager. “They can explore our full range of products and gain an understanding of the differences between sports flooring types.”

Those interested in designing a court can choose from a basketball, volleyball or basketball and volleyball court combination then select colors for the playing area, center circle, keys and border area. The finishing touch is picking the size, color and placement of the team or facility name to add to their court. The process ends with an option to print out the custom designed court.
Materials on Gerflor and its commitment to the environment and the ability of Taraflex flooring to contribute to LEED certification are available. The site provides links to international and national sports federations and standards organizations.
